REGISTRATION FOR THE “COLOUR AND LIGHT” FESTIVAL IS NOW OPEN
The Organization Committee of the International Photography Festival “COLOUR AND LIGHT” has opened registration to the Festival, which will be held from 21 to 25 August in the town of Yelets, Lipetsk Oblast.
The International Photography Festival “LIGHT AND COLOUR” will be held in Yelets for the first time. The town will receive the participants of a major event in the area of photography from different regions of Russia and abroad for the first time.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. Festival registration is free of charge.
2. The Festival participants will have to cover their travel and accommodation costs in Yelets by themselves. The list of hotels providing discounts and special offers to the Festival Participants will be published on this site shortly, as well as the special booking conditions (see WHERE TO STAY? section).
3. Having arrived in Yelets the Participants will need to validate their online registration, and get a participant bracelet and badge, Festival program and apply for master-classes, excursions and portfolio reviews in the Festival Headquarters at the main Festival site – Yelets Ivan Bunin University (28, Kommunarov street).
4. The formal opening of the Festival and the Award Ceremony for “LIGHT AND COLOUR” Contest Winners will be held in the assembly hall of the Yelets University at 15.00 on 21 August. The same hall will host the portfolio review on 24 August, the fourth day of the Festival.
5. First 10 participants to validate their Festival registration will receive Festival branded memorable gifts at the Festival Headquarters in Yelets.
FREE OF CHARGE: All the Festival program activities, including excursions and portfolio review are free for the Festival Participants. You can also apply for the participation in limited attendance master classes, photo walks and excursion on the first day of the Festival at the Headquarters.
PAID: “Yelets Souvenir” supplementary program master classes for adults and children. The master classes will be held by hand craft masters from Yelets (crocheting, souvenir moldings, felt items etc.). Excursions to Yelets museums. You can reserve these activities on the first day of the Festival in the Headquarters.
HOW TO GET THERE? The driving distance from Moscow to Yelets is 384 km, use highway M4 to get there by car. You can also get to Yelets by intercity bus or train. Approximate time of travel is 5 hours, the cost of one way ticket can vary from 1400 to 3000 RUR depending on the means of transportation. You can choose your journey on bus station site.
By train: Vostochny, Paveletsky, Kursky or Kievsky railway stations in Moscow. Trip duration: 7-8 hours. Fare: from 2 000 to 7 000 RUR.
